High Tensile Low Hydrogen Electrodes :
It is medium heavy coated rutile, iron powder type electrode for all position welding of mild steel. Best suited for fast welding and vertical down welding. Gives smooth arc, medium penetration, extremely ductile and radiographic quality welds. Deposition efficiency is approximately 110%. For welding of pressure vessels, ships building, shells, building structures, machine parts, storage tanks, truck frames and bodies. Ideal for repairing steel castings in foundry, underframes and bodies of railway carriages and wagons.

It is a medium-heavy coated all position, Hydrogen controlled electrode for medium high tensile and low alloy steels. Ideal for joining and surfacing high strength steels, chrome-nickel steels and other heat treated steels where matching of base metal and weld metal is not necessary. Produces radiographic quality welds. Deposition efficiency is approximately 110%. For welding of railway class III steel for depositing buffer layer before hardfacing. For overhead cranes, butt welding of rail ends, repair in cast iron, joining mild steel to cast iron.

A super-heavy coated iron powder ‘touch-welding’ electrode with outstanding deposition rate for downhand butt & fillet welds and horizontal fillet welds. Hard Facing Electrodes
A medium heavy coated rutile type electrode deposits air hardening type weld metal of approx. 250 Brinell hardness. The weld metal is machinable. A buffer layer of IDEAL-7016 is recommended on carbon steels and low alloy steels. For welding of gears, tram tyres, shafts, sugarcane crushes, gear wheels, hammers, pinion teeth, pulleys, couplings, spindles and axles
A medium heavy coated Rutile type electrode deposit air hardening type weld metal of approx. 350 Brinell hardness. The weld metal is machinable with carbide tools. A buffer layer of IDEAL-7018 is recommended on carbon steels and low alloy steels. To weld couplings, conveyor parts, log wheels, cams, crawler parts, axles, cold punching dies, brake shoes, drive sprockets, gear shafts, latch bars & plates, plough shares, pulleys, shafts, steel castings, shear blades, sprockets and wobbler ends.
Hard Facing Cutting Cellulosic


It is a specially developed electrode versatile in cutting, goughing and other related operations. A powerful arc with negligible slag enable rapid cutting. It can be used in all positions since the kerfs are narrow. Eminently suitable for burning out rivets, as also for removing risers and runners from foundry castings. Applicable for cutting and piercing of alloy steels, cast iron, copper and aluminium.
It is a medium coated, all position, cellulosic coated electrode with a forceful, penetrating arc and a thin brittle slag. Gives a flat bead with melting rate. The weld metal is highly ductile and of radiographic quality. Suitable for all position work. For welding of pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, structurals, field work where good penetration is necessary in all positions. Good fit-up joints necessary. Specially suited for pressure pipelines which cannot be welded from inside.

It is an extra low carbon 19Cr/10Ni stainless steel electrode for non-stabilised and stabilized Cr-Ni steels resistant to atmospheric corrosion of 18/8 type. Has easy striking and restriking with fine rippled beads and has excellent creep strength and the weld metal is radiographic quality. For welding of all Cr-Ni steels with low or medium carbon content as well as Ti & Cb stabilized Cr – Ni steels of 18/8 type represented by AISI types 302,304,304L,321 & 347 welding of household articles, hospital equipment, chemical plants, milk and soap industries, valve faces and seats.

Cast Iron Welding Electrodes
It is light coated, electrode depositing nickel. Specially designed for welding cast iron the cold way. The nickel weld deposit which bonds thoroughly with the cast iron, does not pick up carbon or any other element form the base metal and remains soft and tough. The weld deposit is machinable and its tensile strength is adequate for cast iron. Reparing of broken castings, building up of worn surfaces on castings, correcting of machining errors on castings, welding of cast iron to steel etc.Ideal – NICKEL – AWS: E Ni-Ci


It is a medium coated electrode for economy class machinable welds on cast iron. The electrode should be preferred when a strong and rigid joining is to be obtained between two cast iron parts. Suitable for welding of cast iron parts for all types of general reclamation or repair work. Pre – heating is recommended for heavy and complicated sections. For welding and repairing cast iron parts, broken castings, building up of worm surfaces or correcting machining errors on castings and joining cast iron to steel. Welding on modular graphite iron malleable iron subject to heavy wear.
